La Bandita Competitive Crew (Ages 6+)
La Bandita is our introductory competitive crew, designed for dancers who are ready to take the next step in their hip hop journey. This program focuses on building strong technical foundations, performance quality, teamwork, and confidence while introducing dancers to the exciting world of competitive hip hop. In a positive and supportive environment, dancers will challenge themselves, grow as performers, and represent Pound It at competitions and battles throughout the season.
Tuesdays | 5:15 PM
In addition to their weekly crew class, dancers receive unlimited training classes, allowing them to continue developing their skills in a variety of authentic street and club dance styles throughout the week.
Each season, La Bandita competes at 3 spring competitions, giving dancers valuable performance experience while creating unforgettable memories with their team.
Tuition: $230/month
Includes unlimited training classes, 3 competition entry fees, and a competition costume.
Supergirlz Competitive Crew
The Supergirlz Competitive Crew is designed for dedicated dancers who are committed to pushing their skills to the next level. Centered around girl power, this program empowers dancers to be bold, strong, confident, and unapologetically themselves. Through feirce and feminine choreography, dancers develop technical excellence, performance quality, confidence, and stage presence while celebrating individuality, teamwork, and self-expression in a positive and supportive environment.

In addition to their weekly crew rehearsal, dancers receive unlimited training classes, providing opportunities to train in a variety of authentic hip hop, street, and club dance styles throughout the week.
As part of their competitive experience, Supergirlz dancers also participate in two exclusive masterclass workshops each season with world-renowned leaders in hip hop, street, and club dance, giving them the opportunity to learn from some of the industry's most respected artists and expand their knowledge, artistry, and confidence.

Red Deer City Breakers Competitive Crew
The Red Deer City Breakers are Pound It Hip Hop Studio's premier Breaking competitive crew, created for dancers who are passionate about the art, athleticism, and culture of Breaking. This program emphasizes power, strength, musicality, creativity, and individuality while building the skills needed to compete, battle, and perform at a high level. Dancers are encouraged to develop their own style, push their physical limits, and deepen their understanding of one of the original elements of hip hop culture in a supportive crew environment.

Through authentic hip hop choreography, dedicated training, and a supportive crew environment, dancers learn the commitment and discipline required to compete at a higher level.

Through authentic hip hop choreography, intensive training, and a strong team culture, dancers refine their technique, performance quality, musicality, creativity, and leadership while continuing to develop their own unique style.

Dancers are expected to demonstrate dedication, discipline, teamwork, and leadership while continuing to grow as versatile artists and ambassadors of authentic hip hop culture.

Whether you're returning to dance or have years of experience, this program offers a supportive, high-energy environment where adults can train, compete, and build lasting friendships through authentic hip hop culture.
The AK42s focus on performance quality, musicality, teamwork, and confidence while learning authentic hip hop choreography and representing Pound It at competitions throughout the season.
