Who We Are
King Charles is a Chicago Footwork pioneer from the Southside of Chicago and a prominent international teaching artist for Chicago Footwork. He has been a global ambassador for the art form for over 20 years. King Charles is the founder and leader of Creation Global, an international Chicago Footwork dance crew with over 70 members worldwide. King Charles was the Artistic Director of renowned Chicago dance company, The FootworKINGZ, who was featured on major television shows including America's Got Talent and America's Best Dance Crew. King Charles has worked professionally with many iconic artists including touring with Madonna for years and performing with artists such as Elton John and Will.I.Am. King Charles continues to blow audiences away with his energy and creativity. His commercial work and stage performances include Omarian, Twista, Bakermat, Willow Smith, Verizon, and Nike- just to name a few. King Charles is also a mentor to many future leaders world-wide and a skilled rapper/MC. King Charles is the CEO and co-founder of Chicago Footworkology.
Kelli Forman is an international teaching artist and choreographer from the United States. After years of intensive training in the American Midwest, Kelli danced professionally in New York City and Los Angeles, working on shows such as X-Factor, Dancing With the Stars, America’s Got Talent, and Glee and modeling for companies such as Coca-Cola and Reebok. Kelli later completed her degree in Dance at the University of California Santa Barbara, advocated extensively for diversity in K-12 and collegiate dance education, and for six years held the position of National Director for a dance non-profit organization that provided free dance to thousands of low-income youth each year across the United States. Kelli shifted her focus from community work to global work, traveling the world as a teaching artist and choreographer in Contemporary, Chicago Footwork, and Heels Dance. Kelli is member of Creation Global, an international Chicago Footwork crew. Kelli envisions and works towards an international network of artists who will be able to creatively and collectively develop a more healthy Earth
Sarah Steben is a Montreal based dancer, educator and choreographer who began her journey at the age of 15 years old. At a young age, Sarah was a member of the two-time world Hip Hop champion all female crew “Extreme” and all female crew “Aftermath”, which both allowed her the opportunity to travel the world to compete, train, and decide to pursue dance professionally. Sarah has had the opportunity to work choreographically with Canadian artists such as award winning singer/songwriter Stephen Voyce, and Agence Ranch’s Brittany Kennell. She has made several TV appearances on networks such as CTV, Global Television, TVA, V Tele and more. In 2010 and 2011 Sarah was selected as a finalist (Toronto week) on the hit TV show So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Sarah has also worked with large local production companies like Moment Factory, Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Eloize and many more. Some of her most proud moments include the Quebec production of Saturday Night Fever as a featured dancer performing in over 130 shows, cast member in the Monsters of Hip Hop show in 2013 and company member in Rhapsody James's hybrid dance company R.ED 2017 (Rhapsody En Dance). She has also danced in music videos for DJ Tiesto, The Kills, Celine Dion, Point Point & more. She also recently worked as a dancer for the movie Trolls World Tour choreographed by Marty Kudelka (Justin Timberlake, Janet Jackson, Jackson 5). She recently created a professional level training program for the dancers of Montreal and surrounding areas called Moving Beyond. She hopes to continue to inspire the next generation of upcoming artists!
Allanna Cave is a dancer and teacher based out of Montreal Canada. Allanna began dancing at the age of 12 in jazz and contemporary. Following high school, she joined the Sonia Balazovjech Dance Company, a non-profit contemporary jazz company based in the West Island of Montreal. With a background in jazz and contemporary, her passion for learning has pushed her to continue training in other styles such as Chicago footwork, heels & hip hop. She is a member of Creation Global and has been training under Ant & Tal Sugarmann and King Charles. Allanna is a strong believer that we are never finished training and we always have room to grow. Her drive towards personal growth has attributed to her versatility and allowed her to take part in various training programs such as Motivating Excellence, a commercial training program in Los Angeles directed by Rhapsody James alongside Nicco Annan, Mel Charlot and Jared Jenkins. She is also a 3 time Moving Beyond alumni, a Montreal based training program directed by Sarah Steben. In 2020, Allanna was a cast of Sarah’s Steben’s A.C.E. Awards peice, Talk is Cheap, where they placed 3rd. She has also been able to perform on platform such as En Direct de l’Univers, Dieux de la Danse, Fierté Montreal and WE Day. Allanna focuses on sharing her love of dance with the younger generation. She believes in pushing her students to develop a strong work ethic and mindset, all while maintaining the love and passion for the art.
